Bad quality

I purchased these. The hooks I received were all of varying sizes. Some were blackened. Some were super shiny silver (making me question whether they in truth are surgical steel). And the balls on the hooks are plastic coated in silver paint that scratches off. Very poor quality.

“Hypo-allergenic”?

I’ll confess that I don’t actually own this item, but claiming that surgical steel is “Hypo-allergenic” is vastly misleading. Surgical steel holds significant quantities of nickel, which is one of the most mutual metals in jewelery to which people have reactions. Earrings made with these conclusions will still cause galore people to react badly.
Be careful regarding what you consider “Hypo-allergenic”!

I got mine from uncomon artistry and they were all identical sizes and evidently surgical steel. They matched the earring backs i got to go with them and were a great set. I would not hesitate to recomend these! I buy a lot and recognise rather well what surgical steel looks like.
